Diploma of Professional Coaching
This program aims to develop the knowledge gained at first level (Certificate of Professional Coaching ), and integrate this into coaching practice. The Program aims to offer further development for Coaches wishing to progress to PCC level with the ICF.
This program is facilitated in alliance with The Performance Solution and your certificate will be granted by them. On the ICF register the program is called "Higher Professional Coaching Skills"
If you are looking to develop further depth in skills to Professional Certified Coach level, this Program is suitable for both Executive and Personal Coaching. The Inspiration Factory takes care to develop coaches with Presence, and the ability to facilitate coaching as an emergent process (no matter what the subject matter of the client). With this foundation, as a Coach, you can choose to develop a niche in the public market, or take Coaching skills into the organisational context.

Gaining the Diploma of Coaching will provide you with even more powerful tools to increase the value and impact of your coaching. This is Part 2 of the ICF ACTP qualification. It is also recognised by the Association for Coaching.
Completion of this course equips you with the tools and capabilities to coach with an understanding and practical application of coaching, psychometrics, team coaching, mentoring and coach supervision. The course also helps to take your coaching skills to the next level, achieve PCC level accreditation and offer Coach Supervision to others.
Please note: That in order to undertake this course then you are required to have either completed part 1 (Certificate of Coaching) or another ICF accredited course to ACC level.
For those who have attended the Certificate of Professional Coaching
The Diploma has been designed to meet the professional competencies for coaching identified by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Together with the Certificate of Professional Coaching, it offers a minimum of 152 hours coach-specific training, enabling participants to pursue certification as an Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the ICF through the ACTP track.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the module, the candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrate a systematic and critical understanding of the breadth and depth of knowledge in Coaching and a critical awareness of current problems and / or new insights at the forefront of Coaching at an advanced level with particular differentiation between coaching individuals and teams.
- Develop the ability to work with, consult, cross reference and utilise in supervision of coaching other perspectives on the therapeutic relationship to ensure safety of client management demonstrating an awareness and ability to manage the implications of ethical dilemmas and work proactively with others to formulate solutions.
- Critically evaluate and demonstrate own ability to reflect on own applied processes to function effectively as a professional coach, and supervisor of Coaches, working with a range of clients and their presenting issues.
Content Covered
During the programme participants will:
- Be continually observed and assessed in their coaching by peers and experienced coaches using clear standards and criteria as defined by the ICF.
- Observe and assess peers in their coaching and use coaching to aid the planning and development of a personal learning programme.
- Achieve the training accreditation necessary to progress accreditation with the International Coach Federation.
- Be provided with a comprehensive course file, which includes many Coaching tools for your tool-kit.

This fee includes workshops, supervision and mentoring, a comprehensive course manual and catering. During your time on the course, you are also able to attend the monthly online Coach Practice Group. The Practice Group is a meeting of Graduates and current coaching students. The focus of the Practice Group is to provide demonstrations of coaching to the ICF competencies, opportunity for feedback for yourself on the same (from peers) and support you to put your skills into application in whatever context you are taking Coaching into and participate in a community of coaches committed to continuous learning.
After graduating from this course, delegates will be able to apply for professional credentialing through the ICF. To receive the full ACTP qualification, you will need to have attended the pre-requisite course 'Certificate of Coaching'. This course, stand alone, is ACTSH program sufficient for ACC level accreditation with the International Coach Federation.
About the Trainer
Grace Minton is a PCC level Coach, with a Post Graduate qualification in Coaching. Grace has an ICF Accredited Diploma of Coach Supervision and has been a Lecturer of Coaching a Post-Graduate level.
Grace has coached professionally in both the leadership/corporate and personal development spaces and is the owner of The Inspiration Factory, a six-figure coaching-based company.
Grace also has tertiary qualifications in Communication Studies and HR Development and has 15 years experience working in HR and OD Consulting.
Grace is a mBIT Trainer, Master Trainer of the Extended DISC Profile and iWAM Profile instruments.
